Most watch cases are a circle because a circle is easy to machine. This one is a puddle. The chrome ripples out of the bezel and runs down into the bracelet with no clean line between the two, which is a nuisance to make and the entire reason it looks like nothing else in the room.
Underneath the theatre it's an ordinary analogue quartz movement, accurate and boring, which is exactly what you want holding up a case like this.
